What we collect
We collect the information you give us directly. That means the fields you fill in on our forms: event submissions, directory listings, promotion and partnership requests, contact messages, and email newsletter signups. Files you attach to a promotion request are included.
We also collect basic technical information that any website receives when you visit — your browser type, device, approximate location from your IP address, and which pages you viewed.
How we use it
- To publish the events, listings and content you submit for publication.
- To reply to your questions, quotes and requests.
- To send the Track Moms newsletter, if you asked for it.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers. When an advertiser sponsors content or a placement, they receive performance information about the placement — not a list of the people who saw it.
Information you submit for publication
Event listings and directory listings are meant to be public. Anything you submit in those forms for publication — business name, event details, website, service area, public contact details — will appear on the site. Contact details you give us for our own use, such as your personal phone number, are not published unless you ask us to publish them.
Service providers
We use third parties to run the site — hosting, email delivery, analytics, form processing and payment processing for the shop. They handle information on our behalf and only for that purpose.
Children
Track & field is a youth sport, so this matters here more than on most sites. Track Moms is intended for adults — parents, coaches, athletes of legal age, meet directors and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to correct or remove a listing, or to delete information you have sent us, by emailing info@trackmoms.com.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
